Join us for the annual Mammoth Yacht Club Boat Races on May 24, 2025 as cardboard vessels compete on creativity and speed. Does your crew have what it takes to pass with flying colors? Four lucky teams will win sponsor prizes in this first rate, fun competition.
Boat Race Schedule

*Any children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign a waiver at check-in.

If you and your crew weren't able to grab a spot, spectating is encouraged on race day. Stay tuned to the event listing for race location and event updates.

Boat Race Rules
Boat Race Rules
- All team members must sign a waiver day-of prior to the races
- 4 people maximum per boat
- Boats must be made of ONLY cardboard, tape and paint; Flags are also allowed
- Items that are not allowed include but are not limited to: plywood, screws, skis, epoxy, etc.
- All boats must pass inspection prior to the races
- No pets allowed in boats
- Helmets are highly recommended for adults and required for children
- Participants must carry their own boat to the starting line, so please keep weight in mind
- Participants must break down and dispose of their own boats. Please note that all boats must be properly broken down and flattened to fit in provided trash cans.
- Adult division participants must be 15+
